Franz-Horr Centenium Arena
Addition and reorganization of the existing soccer stadium and training facilities of FAK Austria Wien football club- celebrating it’s 100th year anniversary. Tight budget constraints required the design to be cost-efficient and generate additional value. The existing patchwork of structures remain largely untouched, the entire complex is enwrapped with a multifunctional media-skin. The rhomboid-structural system is used for the extension of seating capabilities and as frame-work for the multimedia facade which displays team colors or is used for sponsoring activities.
