Mix-Use residential development with 72 Units in 5 buildings and a nursing home for handicapped residents. Following the historic, local “village square” typology the 5 residential volumes are loosely arranged around a new piazza which encourages communication among neighbors. The units in the nursing home follow the same principal – a central living room becomes the “piazza” for groups of 6-9 residents.
